Condition 1 – Purpose of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These general terms and conditions apply solely to online relationships between the customer ("Client") and Bike Your City, defining their respective rights and obligations as well as the various steps of the ordering process. Sales are reserved for adults or minors with parental consent.

Condition 2 – Products

The products available for sale are those listed on the website at the time of the user's visit and are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable, Bike Your City will inform the customer as soon as possible.

Products are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, if errors or omissions occur, Bike Your City cannot be held liable. Photos and descriptions are non-contractual.

Condition 3 – Prices

Prices are shown in Euros, including VAT and any discounts applicable on the day of the order. Prices exclude shipping fees, which will be added during checkout. Bike Your City reserves the right to change prices at any time, but orders will be billed according to the rates in effect at the time of order confirmation and subject to product availability. Items remain the property of Bike Your City until full payment is received.

Condition 4 – Ordering and Checkout Process

Customers can place orders directly through https://bikeyourcity.be.

To order:

  • Create an account if it's your first time.
  • Select products and add them to your cart.
  • At any time, view your cart or proceed to checkout.
  • Identify yourself using your email and password (serving as proof of identity).
  • Confirm billing address.
  • Accept the terms and conditions by checking the appropriate box.
  • Choose a payment method via the Stripe platform (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, bank transfer, etc.) and enter the required information.
  • Validate the payment to confirm the order.

After placing an order, you’ll receive an order confirmation via email. By confirming the order, the customer certifies being either 18 years old or having parental authorization. The authorized minor agrees to inform their parent or guardian of the data collected and their rights.

Bike Your City reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in cases of:

  • Existing disputes
  • Full or partial non-payment of a previous order
  • Denial of payment authorization
  • Use of unauthorized or invalid payment methods

In such cases, Bike Your City shall not be held liable. We also reserve the right to cancel any order without explanation, subject to refunding any payments made.

Condition 5 – Delivery

While Bike Your City strives to deliver as quickly as possible, we are not liable for delays. Delivery times listed on our site or those of our partners are estimates only.

Condition 6 – Data

Any customer who places an order is automatically and freely added to the Bike Your City customer database. Personal data is kept confidential and will not be shared without consent.

Condition 7 – Availability

If an item becomes unavailable after ordering, the customer will be notified by email as soon as possible. The order will be canceled, and any payment refunded within 30 days to the customer’s bank account.

Condition 8 – Right of Withdrawal

Depending on your country of residence, as a consumer, you may cancel your order under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. You may notify us of your decision within 14 days of placing the order or within 7 days of receiving the item.

A full refund will be issued if the product is returned in its original, unused condition. We strongly recommend checking the items before removing tags or discarding packaging. Products must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and with original tags.

Custom-made items may not be eligible for return or refund.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Returns should be sent to: Chaussée de Waterloo 789, 1180 Uccle, Belgium.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method as the customer must retain proof of return.

Bike Your City is not responsible for delivery errors caused by incorrect address input.

Items bought on sale or during special promotions (flash sales, VIP sales, discount codes) are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

Condition 9 – Partial Invalidity

If any clause in this contract becomes invalid due to legal or regulatory changes or judicial decisions, the remaining clauses remain in effect.

Condition 10 – Entire Agreement

These terms and the customer’s order summary form the full contract between the parties.
